Security is one of the most important functions of POS softwares, and has a direct relationship with cash control. In order to account for all possible situations and dangers that may threaten security, CleanMax provides five different levels including owner, manager, master counter, counter, and time clock only. Security levels have been defined and set based on the amount of authority, and the types of tasks that specific employees or people in certain positions carry out. Security levels may be redefined.
CleanMax provides five types of security control which prompts the user for a pin number. For example within a store with two computer units, the employee will be prompted for a pin number every time they are making a transaction for security reasons. You may select five different options for security control, such as no security, cash drawer only, login security, module level security or limited security. For identification purposes with stores that have multiple computer units, you can set the system on the limited security function in order to keep track of all transactions. Login security prompts the user only several times a day oppose to per every transaction based on who is working on that specific day.

If you link the portable memory to the computer, the computer will turn off on its own at its scheduled time. Additionally, if the computer or the database malfunctions, you can restore all data from the portable memory. Another option is our remote hosting service which stores and secures all data in case of any sort of damage that may occur. High speed broadband is required.

“Back Office” is a replication feature and a complement to SyncMax, that safeguards, stores, and transfers data from each of your satellite locations to a server computer so that the system can rapidly process auto garment sorting recognition for all satellite locations, without compromising efficiency and speed no matter how many stores you may operate."Back Office" also offers full data consolidation, and can can quickly restore and recover data in case of a local store database failure or computer shutdown. This replication feature requires the NSD (No Systems Down) feature, and a server class computer with MS SQL 2012.

Credit card encryption adds heightened security for your customers even in the case of database defaults. In order to protect your customers' private information even further, employees can only view the last 4 digits of all credit card numbers stored within the database.

Our software comes equipped with a CleanMax, ShoeMax, LaundroMax, or TailorMax-only screen which blocks the user off from all other programs, hence preventing employees from being idle at work and dually providing virus protection. The only way to leave this mode is with a password that varies for further security protection.
